1. Introduction
Welcome to Flores Professional Services. By using our website and booking an appointment through our online platform, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your use of our services and the relationship between you and Flores Professional Services.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before making a booking. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not proceed with booking an appointment.
2. Booking Terms
2.1 Appointment Confirmation
When you request an appointment through our website, your booking will be reviewed by Flores Professional Services. We will either confirm or deny the appointment based on availability and other factors. If we are unable to confirm your requested appointment, we will contact you via phone to reschedule for a more suitable time. Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation via email and/or SMS with the appointment details.
2.2 Rescheduling and Cancellations
You may cancel your appointment at any time without any penalties. If you need to reschedule, please contact us directly, and we will work with you to find a more convenient time. Our goal is to accommodate your scheduling needs as best as possible.
2.3 No-Show Policy
We do not enforce a no-show policy. If you miss your scheduled appointment, we will contact you to reschedule for another time that works better for you.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Pricing and Payments
The cost of our services varies depending on the specific forms and services required for your tax preparation. We are unable to provide an exact price at the time of booking. However, we do offer a $40 estimate for a short form, which can be discussed during your appointment. Final pricing will be determined once we have a complete understanding of all the forms and services needed.

Credit and Debit Cards (please note that a 3.5% processing fee will apply for card payments)
Payments are due at the time of your appointment.
3.2 Changes to Pricing
The prices of our services may vary depending on the complexity of your tax situation. Any changes to the estimated price will be communicated to you during your appointment, once we have a full understanding of the forms and services required.
4. Communication Consent
4.1 SMS and Email Consent (Updated for Verbal Consent Logging)

How We Collect SMS Consent:

Clients booking online must check a box explicitly agreeing to receive SMS communications before submitting their appointment request.

Clients booking over the phone hear an automated message:
"Hello, this call may be monitored for quality assurance purposes." -
Once connected to a live agent, they are asked for explicit SMS consent:
"Do we have your consent to send SMS notifications regarding your appointment and feedback requests?"

If consent is given, the client’s Name, Phone Number, and Consent Status (Yes/No) are logged in Google Calendar and automatically stored in a Google Sheet via Zapier for compliance tracking.
4.2 Opt-Out Instructions
You have the right to opt out of receiving communications from us at any time. To opt out of SMS messages, reply 'STOP' to any SMS message you receive from us. To opt out of email communications, click the unsubscribe link provided in any of our emails. Please note that opting out of communications may affect your ability to receive important updates about your appointment.

4.3 Data Privacy
Your contact information, including your phone number and email address, will be used solely for the purpose of managing your appointment.
